Rabat — The Caisse Nationale de la Sécurité Sociale (CNSS) has issued an official statement in response to a recent series of cyberattacks targeting its information systems. According to the CNSS, these attacks resulted in the unauthorized release of certain data, which the institution insists is largely inaccurate or deliberately manipulated.

In its communiqué, the CNSS condemned the cyber intrusions, describing them as a "serious attempt to undermine the integrity and confidentiality of its digital infrastructure." The organization assured the public that swift action was taken as soon as the breaches were detected, with technical teams mobilized to contain the threat and assess the extent of the damage.
"Preliminary verifications have shown that the data disseminated online is, in many cases, false, inaccurate, or taken out of context in a misleading manner," the CNSS stated. "We urge the public and media outlets to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of any information before sharing it."
The CNSS emphasized that it has launched a full investigation into the incident in coordination with the relevant national cybersecurity and law enforcement authorities. Efforts are also underway to strengthen system security and prevent further breaches.
While expressing regret over any concern caused by the leaked materials, the CNSS reassured citizens that the protection of their personal and professional information remains a top priority. "We are committed to transparency and will continue to keep the public informed as the investigation progresses," the communiqué concluded.
The CNSS also warned against the spread of misinformation, reminding individuals and platforms that the dissemination of falsified data could result in legal consequences.
This cyberattack comes amid a global surge in digital threats targeting public institutions, raising renewed concerns about data protection and digital sovereignty in an increasingly connected world.
